Meet the Doctor

Lan Dr. Duckett, D.D.S.

Dr. Duckett has been practicing dentistry since 1995. He is currently a faculty member of the Department of Removable Prosthodontics, Howard University College of Dentistry, where he has received numerous “Outstanding Clinical Teacher Awards” . He had successfully completed a comprehensive one-year Dental Implant training program at Howard University and served as a Program Director’s Assistant. He was also the Principal Investigator of several research projects affiliated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

As a researcher, Dr. Duckett has extensive knowledge in the latest advances in Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. As an educator, Dr. Duckett feels our greatest service is in educating our patients. He takes time to explain patients’ dental needs and addressing all their concerns and questions. Dr. Duckett has also actively participated in many Health Fairs at Howard University as well as local communities.

Dr. Duckett is a professional member of the American Dental Association (ADA), and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He has attained licenses in VA, MD, and DC.


Richard Koh, D.D.S., MS

Dr. Richard Koh received all of his degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, receiving a B.S. in Biology and D.D.S. and M.S. in Periodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (Board-Certified). Dr. Koh is well published in periodontal and implant journals as well as lectured on topics such as implants and periodontal-related topics. He has received numerous awards including, the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Dental Student Award (2007), Comprehensive Care Award (2007), and the American Association of Dental Research Fellowship (2005). Dr. Koh is married. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, and spending time with his family.
